All the Sample Sale Tutus were specifically made for taking the photos you see in my shop. I don’t sell photo prop tutus as new so it’s time to clear out and make room for some new designs. I am offering these tutus at a discounted price because they have already been fluffed and briefly worn/used for photographs. They are still in beautiful condition and ready to be loved.

Back To Work!

I took a few weeks off to spend the Holidays with my family in Florida.  We moved from Florida to the Midwest 8 years ago on Christmas Day and this was the first Christmas in Florida since we left.  It was also the first Christmas my youngest kids had away from home.  Of course they wondered if Santa would find them, and hoped he got the letter they sent telling him where they would be.  My 3 year old still thinks most of his toys came from Nonna (my mother) since that's where he recieved them.  Packing to come home was difficult but, we managed to pack and remember all the important stuff - the presents!

Now that we are home, things are pretty much back to normal - the kids are back in school and Tutu Gorgeous Girl is back open.   I've spent the last couple weeks working on some new ideas and designing some new Valentine's Day and Spring tutus.

My Etsy shop is back open!  So far I have two new Christmas tutus listed and three more ready to be photographed. 

A "Tutu Gorgeous" Halloween

I thought I would share some Halloween photos from the "Tutu Gorgeous Girl" home.  Last week I put my Etsy shop on vacation so I could catch up on some much needed work around the house and to make the kids' costumes.  I will be opening shop either Tuesday or Wednesday and will be listing some new tutus for the Holidays. 

For Halloween my daughter said she wanted to be a mermaid with a tutu!  At first I was stumped but we came up with a nice solution by using the tutu for the tail fins.  For my three year old, I made a felt fish costume, and had so much fun making it. I love the eyeballs! My oldest daughter is a vampire in a tutu and her friend (shown in the pictures) is a fairy.  My oldest son was vacationing in Florida with his grandpa so I had one less costume to make this year.

Halloween Tutus

It's almost Halloween!  Do you have your tutu?

Tomorrow will be the last day I will be taking custom orders for Halloween tutus.  I am so thankful for all the wonderful customers I've had on Etsy and locally!  You have all been wonderful to work with. This has been such a fun time for me and I'm already looking forward to designing new tutus for next Halloween.   Halloween night I will be thinking of all the gorgeous little witches, fairies and rockstar divas running around in my tutus.  Have a fun and safe Halloween!
